P G & E's facility was to the left, with the tank and building right next to it. to the immediate right was the United Railroads North Beach Power House. The metal stack on the URR PH was a rebuild from a much taller all-brick stack. In 1911, URR sold the power house to P G & E. This power plant partially collapsed in 1906.
